KATIE BARTLEY Physiotherapist Assistant & Fitness Coach BSc. CAT(c), CSEP-CPT

Katie is a Physiotherapist Assistant and Fitness Coach at Reforge Group. She obtained her Bachelor of Science at Concordia University, Diploma in Health and Lifestyle Management from George Brown College, and Athletic Therapist Degree at Sheridan College.

During her time at Concordia, Katie played varsity rugby and was a four time Academic All- Canadian. As a competitive athlete in soccer, rugby, and dance; sport and fitness have played an essential role her entire life, and she always promotes movement within her rehabilitation process.

As a Physiotherapist Assistant, Katie uses an individualized patient-centered approach to her therapy sessions. This includes a variety of manual techniques, exercise prescription and always having an honest, compassionate communication style. She will always strive to help you reach your full potential achieving your fitness goals or rehabilitation progress.

Katie enjoys staying active through strength training, soccer and tennis; and you can often catch her with the Etobicoke Youth Soccer Club doing warmups and drills with her daughters’ team!

Katie has over 10 years of experience working with high performance athletes in the GTA.

Shameek has maintained an active lifestyle for his entire life. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing soccer, hiking, or simply enjoying a walk in the park.

After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Shameek became a keen advocate for the health and well-being of others. This led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, graduating from Leeds Beckett University in the United Kingdom. He gained a specific interest in athletic movement and applies research-based evidence to provide a high standard of care.

Shameek has worked with people of all ages – from children and teens as well as adults and elderly patients who seek therapeutic care. Through individualized assessments and treatment plans, he is committed to helping them achieve their goals whether it is regaining functional mobility or improving athletic performance. Shameek is proud to work alongside a team that delivers a holistic and well-rounded approach to healthcare.
